Senior Portrait Article

After reading this senior portrait article I've realized that while taking these shots they should really represent who the model is and their interests, they should be able to feel comfortable with their own movements and not have to feel forced. The shots ending results should be creative and not ordinary to be able to describe who the model is or wants to be. Being creative with this project is a lot about making it your own, this article made me realize that in this day and age with this generation that kids are very "Media Savvy" and should not follow just from what others do, make it your own and to have fun with it. Thinking back to what Elaine Gates said; Everyone is beautiful but you just have to get the right angle and figure out what works best for them most and this article is reminding me of what its focusing on. Getting the right lighting can make the perfect shot, along with facial expression "smiling with your eyes" along with all the rest of your facial features. My goal is to make these shots out of the ordinary and edit them to make them look even better and more professional, not just a filter and little tweeks, but to really focus on what i'm editing.
